Offset or back space of the stock 17x8 rims..

Or did the 2500 have 17x7.5 rims?
I need to find out what the back spacing or offset of the stock steel wheels are..
Ive heard 6" back space, which sounds more than it looks. These wheels are on my 12 valve.
And one last question.. Where could I buy 4 new steel rims identical to the stock 3rd gen wheels I have now?
