Manual Locking Hubs available for a 2006 2500HD 4x4
Good Morning;
*are there: Manual Locking Hubs available for a 2006 2500HD 4x4 with the 5.7l & A/T ?
If so... I would like to install a set of them on the front end to help save on gas and also because my front differential has an ever so slight seep at the pinion seal area where the front driveline connects, then the differential would only be turning when in the locked position and I wouldn't have any seeping issue under normal highway/city driving.
Thank You

There are kits out there, but, they are all north of 1700 bucks..... so, if you are expecting it to pay for itself..... that's not going to happen. Not worth the money in my opinion. Pinion seals are dirt cheap.
Yes Sir, I found a company in Fort Worth that sells the complete kit for $1,795.00 plus the 2 Moog U-Joints for $150.00 - I forgot to ask about shipping fees. (RamManINC)
I wasn't wanting to do this to avoid the pinion seal replacement, that was just a plus for me, if I were to install this kit as the truck sits right now.
They charge $200 to install the complete kit - unfortunately I am in Oregon.
I would only do this if I were planning to keep the truck for several years, not sure about that yet. I like the truck a lot But, would prefer the Diesel and 6 speed manual transmission to keep for Long Term/Many Years.
