Default 06 Ram 1500 Mega Cab Laramie

I am interested in an 06 Ram 1500 Mega Cab Laramie with Hemi engine. The tuck has 200,000 miles but looks pristine. Apart from the things I can see, hear and feel wile testing the truck is there anything I should be aware of specifically with this model? Thank you!

Lifter tick, and broken exhaust bolts.

200k is alot of miles for a 1500. If you don't work on your own stuff, I'd pass. If you do work on your own stuff, make sure you cash in on the market change (decreasing truck values) due to fuel costs and the general political push to make fossil fuels extinct (see what I did t there?). I'd have a mechanic put it on a lift and perform an inspection so you are best informed. The rear diff can be problematic if its LSD, and it probably is given the trim level. IPM under the hood can give you some grief too.

Keep in mind even though it says 1500, the MegaCab rides on a 2500 frame and running gear. The 1500 denotes capability. 06-08 5.7 MegaCabs were 1500's, Cummins powered ones were 25/3500's.
