I have a 'creaking' sound coming from my passenger door. Any creak or rattle makes me crazy. Yes, I have a sound system that will set off car alarm but if I hear a rattle/creak I'll turn it off just to torment myself I guess. Anyone with any advise, please let me know.
The only noise makers in my truck are the loose window/ lock switch on the passenger side, which is part way my fault for breaking the tabs that hold it in place. The other spot is the drivers seat over bumps, I don't guess my fat behind helps that either. The switch panel will be replaced as soon as I can find one. Junk yards in my area have went the way of the doo doo bird, and the net hasn't been kind to me in finding. Don't know what to do about the seat though.
I just got my 04 ram and it has the worst rattle coming from behind the radio/A/C/dash . I'm going to have to try and track it down as it's P-ing me off. Think i'll have to take the center thing off and drive around till I find it. Any one have this "Rattle"?
I did, i took my front bezzel off and found that it was the radio harness, when i replaced my headunit i took the harness and put some weather stipping where it was rubbing, knocking. I did the same with my a/c harness. I hope this helps i dont know what kind of noise or rattle it is but thats what it was in my 02.
Both doors rattle and creak as I go down the road and over bumps. The weather seems to effect the passenger side door but the drivers side door alway rattles over bumps (railroad tracks) and such. (2008 quad cab).
I wish that I had an answer to this because unlike some others that just turn up their stereo, the second I hear something the radio goes off and I let it irritate me.
