I took my truck to a local tint place that tints all the windows on the casinos around here and they offer a life time warranty on cracking, peeling, fading and bubbling. I got 15% all around on my regular cab and it was $220. That is more expensive than most but you get what you pay for. My brother had his done at a cheaper place in his charger and his had little itty bitty bubbles in it but mine had zero. Also, the place I had mine done at uses pre cut tint that prints out of a printer so there is no cutting on the windows. I can't be happier and I am willing to pay for it to be that much better.

I got the back, 2 sides, and 6" on the front window. Cost $150 and they used the best window tint out there (llumar sp?). They also offer a lifetime garantee. I used to tint windows 10 years ago and could have done mine but if you are not profecient in tinting you will make mistakes and have to redo them if you want them to look good. You also will not save that much money by doing it yourself and the film available for you to buy is cheap film that will turn purple and bubble over time (even though the box says it wont). Talk to other people in the area to see who they recomend. $150 and a lifetime garantee is better than spending $100 on the film, takes 2-3 hours to do (and get someone to help you), and then you will most likely have to do them again in about 5 years because the tint they sell at the auto stores are not very good quality. Hope this helps.

by the way, find a place that uses llmar sp? window tint film. It is the best in the industry.

I have a quote for $60 for the front 2 and $75 if add the 8" strip to the front window. I live in NC. Wherever you go make sure they have a warranty and have staying power. I had windows redone on my import on 3 different occasions for free under the lifetime warranty. I also had to pay and have some redone when a local shop tinted the windows on an old truck I owned and they didn't pass inspection (guess who went out of business). Sometimes the best price is not the most economical in the long run.

i asked my very reliable mechanic that ive been going to for years and he recommended Sun control. I went there this morning and its is going to be $150 and they are doing 5% on the back and 32% on the sides which is the legal limit in georgia. Im getting it back in a few hours so when i get it ill let you know what i think of their service
