from my experience any local tint shop is pretty comparable as far as prices go. now quality of work is a different story. make sure you get it done at a shop thats been in business for a while and offer's a guarantee on their work. you should be able to find a shop that offer's a lifetime guarantee. usually i would go with a shop that was recommended by someone you know in that area that got their tint done at that particular shop. that way you can see how the tint is holding up after a few months or years. that would be your best bet. hope this helps

if u do it right then you wont have that problem....seriously on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the hardest, window tinting is like a 4 at the very most, IMO...but whichever, just tryin to help save ya some money

i tinted the windows on my 96 ram by myself when i was 16 (2001), never done it before in my life and when i sold the truck 2 years ago it still looked just like it did when i did it then

If you take it somewhere make sure to inspect your truck very well when you get it back.

I took mine to a local guy that has been in busniess for over 10 years and when I got it back he had messed up my door panels real bad. The worse part was he tried to hide the damage with glue and paint and tried telling me it was like then when I brought it. Once I showed him the trucks OD read 650 miles his tone changed. I made him replace the panels with 2 brand new. Cost him around $180 per panel.

Our door panels have little tabs that line them up on the door along the window sil. When the panels are put back on if there is too much force used to make them slide down into place it will bend these little stand-offs and cause the panel to discolor from the plastic stressing. Also the pieces that hold the lower part of the door in will do this also. Thats what happen to mine and he had also cut the panels with his razor blade, I guess he used my doors to make trims on the tint.

The sad part is I had used him before and he had done a great job. Now I am sure to tell anyone that asks where I got it done what happen. The tint job is great and looks good but I have bad memories.

Imagine getting your truck for christmas from your Girlfriend then taking to get the windows done 600 miles later. Coming home and having to tell and show her what happen. She was upset to say the least.

that is one thing that im worrying about. Do they have to remove the door panel bc if they do, dodge makes the cheapest door panels and im afraid of them not fitting back right
