Took the MegaCab Muddin Today, What a Blast!!
I'm usually one to baby my trucks, but today was different. My buddy has access to over 900 acres near where I live, so I decided to see what the MegaCab could do. Holy crap, it surprised me! I was going through mud like it was pavement, it was def a good experience. The only bad part was that my nice bright white truck was BLACK from head to toe. It took me over four hours to clean the damn thing, and there is still mud coming off in places. Thats probably the last time I will do that, just for the simple fact that it was a pain to clean, although the florida mud is easy to get off there was just too much. And the thing that pissed me off the most, I forgot my camera, aaahhhhh. A friend had his cell phone so we got a couple pics and I'm going to see if he can email them to me.
Right before we were done riding, my engine light came on. I hooked up the superchip and it read error code P0573=cruise ctrl/Brake switch a circ high, anyone have any idea why this happened and what should I do. If anything I'll just take it to the dealer but just wondering why it happened. And I did notice on my way home that the cruise control was not working, just hope its nothing serious, and not sure why that would happen going muddin.
Anyway just thought I'd share my experience today, it was awesome. And kudos to the toyo m/t's they played a big part in the ease of gettin through the thick stuff.

Did you remember to turn traction control off? P0573 has to do with the cruise control getting a bad signal from the brakes, so either the brakes overheated or the cruise control is messed up. If superchips will allow you to reset the engine light, do that and see if it comes back on. If it doesn't then it was probably because the brakes were getting too good of a workout
But if it does come back on, then you should think about taking it in and having it looked at by a technician.

There should be a button on the stereo panel called ESP or ESP with a line through it. Push that to turn off the electronic nanny. A confirmation light should light up on the dashboard. I think there's a section on it in the owner's manual too, but I'm not sure.
All mega cabs come with traction control and 4 wheel ABSstandard. Basically, if the computer decides that you're about to oversteer or understeer, it will brake individual wheels until it figures you're back on course. It'll also back off the power from the engine, not sure if this is truck-wide or to each indivudual wheels. It might do a bunch of other things too, but I'm not sure.
