Anybody know if I can get a different grill for my 07? I am looking specifically for either a color-matched (Inferno Red) cross hair OR black honeycomb insert OR BOTH.

I really hate all the chrome on the front end. I love the look of the 05's with the black honeycomb insert, especially with a color-matched cross bar. Anyone know if they make these for the 07?? If so, where can I get them?

Hey man. Don't know about the honeycomb (check e-Bay Motors), but you should be able to have a body shop paint your grille for the same or less than a new color-matched one. You can get the plain black grille from Mopar, but they'd have to paint it, too. I am getting mine done for $180 or so next week.

 

My '07 came with a color matched crossbar...I don't like the chrome ones that much either.

 

Well, I did it! I had my chrome cross hairs painted Inferno Red to match! What a difference it made in the look of the front end. Now it doesn't look too "bright" and blingy!!! To me, it made it look a bit meaner. I always liked the look of the Sports and SRT's with the color-matched grills.

I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your grill. I loved the all black look. I had this on my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quadcab Sport. Im now purchasing a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Regular Cab, So the grill is chrome.

 

Well, you can purchase a color-matched grill. I looked into it, but since they don't offer SRT or Sport models in Inferno Red, they couldn't get me a grill in that color. You can only get them in Black, White, Silver, Flame Red, or Blue.

I got it done for a steal, less than $100. Basically, I paid the difference between a chrome grill vs. a painted one. The shop was doing other work for me, and so they didn't even charge labor. They did a hell of a job! You'll see when I get to takin' the pics
