I now have my ramair scoop I need to go on a hwy trip to see if this thing works, as for gears the 320 are to much freeway flyers and 410 will loss you'r so called great MPG I fell 373 will give you that little extra with out hurting you'r MPG it mite help the MPG you not going have to have you'r foot in it so hard and long.
And around town it should help this 5000 lb truck get off the line little easyer.

I know on my CR 250 you change sprockets it will give you more low end or top end but if you gain one you lose the other, I am a old racer my self and gear is the name of the game right combo can make win or lose.

I now in my 40's to old to race but I still ride for the fun of it.

As for these trucks they need some more off the line the overdrive is little to much over kill with the 320 rear end gears.

I just need to work some OT to pay for the gear change and no I will not do this my self again pay some one trust me on this one my old truck when back many time it was worth paying for not because they did anything wrong it was a murphy law rear end.

I should cost about $700.00 unless I have them put a posi in it which I mite tack on anouther $300.0 to $400.00.

 

well, all ive got to say at this point is good luck and have fun with it! i ahd the 2006 3.7L v6 and loved it! of course it was my first truck. but i did notice it struggling uphills and stuff. but there are mods which you might have done or are doing to make it easier on the motor. get that OT in and go at the ram!

 

I been driiving around made some short trirps 100 round trips here and there, And thats a big YES the Chip, Exhaust, Air Filter, and Ramair was worth every penny my power is great around town and up on the HWY passing a slower car is now easy.

1to10 scale this combo is8 Like I been Saying it not a race truck for a heavy 4999 lb Truck with a small V-6 this truck runs now I happy with it.

Maganflow Exhaust 18 with 3 inch in and out to stock tail pipe $135.00 Installed out the door. I still little loud side but I live with it.

K&N air filter replacement in stock air box $46.00 Plus tax.

Just remeber before you go spend $200.00+ dollars on a high tech cold air, Air filter system I mite clain it can flow at a higher Cfm rate but f you motor don't not need such a high flow rate you just wasted you'r money you only can pull so much air though a stock motor.

And if you do buy a Cold air system if it is not in a air box that draws it air from a direct cold air source you just wasted you'r money again the filters that just dangle in you engine compartment all you doing is sucking in hot air.

Ramair cold air vent Little high price for what it isbut works. $50.00 on the up side itforces out side cold to you'r stock air box intake port atHWY speeds nicely, More colder the air more power more or less.

Toltal $470.00

The chip is good for 17 hp, The exhaust is good for anouther 10 hp, Air filter is good for anouther 5 + hp, the Ramair should help but it took my money also.

Hey lets see if all there claims are right I should be making a extra (32 HP) Ha Ha, but I should get a little be MPG we will see.

I do think I gained the claimed 15 to 17 more RWHP from the Jet programer Chip.
I will to say the rest of the combo helps out but I cant feel it untill you at HYW speeds And when you need to pass a slower car You know the cash you just dumped in to you truck was worth it.

its a wire you hook up under the hood ($40-50) and it helps with fuel economy and instantly adds 8-10RWHP! it really does work! you can put it in in under 30 seconds, literally.

 

I can not give you a fair MPG readings as of now we been having Killer winds here the last week or so that makes my MGP bad I filled up today I was getting 16.53 MPG like I said When the winds die back down I will let you know What Kind of MPG this Mods has gottenme.

But I can say I been much easyer drivingin the wind with this mod, Even my old V-8, 3/4 ton Truck fell the winds around here and it would also kill the MPG.
