Default intake is leaking??

I pulled my truck into dodge and they told me that i blew an intake gasket. does anyone know what it would cost for a new one and how easy it would be to take off the intake manifold to change the gasket. dodge estimated me around 300 or more to put a new gasket on does that sound resonable. thanks.

Cost me somewhere in the 400 hundred range to fix the intake gasket on my old blazer, and that was at the employee rate, so I'd say that's a good price.

When it happened to my 1999 5.9 1500, I found out when I lost all my oil within a week of changing it. I did a vacuum test and verified the problem.

the check engine light never came on i turned my key back and forth 3 times and it showed 3 codes p2108 p2172 and p2106. they hooked it up to the diagnostics and it showed a vacuum leak. its not just an intake gasket that blew my intake manifold was broken in two.
