Well after much debate, I decided to go with a Borla muffler. I got the ProXS series 14" and had it welded in along with a 2' piece of stainless pipe where the old tank of a muffler was. This muffler sounds great and you definitely know it's there as soon as you start the truck. It sounds great at idle and even louder when you give it the gas. A bit loud at the peak of gear changes but very tolerable at cruising speed and will not give you a headache. I paid 75.00 to have the muffler welded in, 40.00 for 2' of stainless pipe, 90.00 for the Borla, and 30.00 for a nice 4" stainless tip. All said and done, it cost me 235.00 for an entire stainless setup and gives a loud roar!
