On the first picture in squatchie16's post, what is that black gooey stuff the dealer puts around that white plastic piece in the door(it's big and almost covers the whole door right when you take the door panel off)? When you deaden your doors, do you have to put that plasticy/rubber piece back on? Thanks
As above, it just peels off and you throw it away. Mine came off almost entirely when i took the pastic off, the other little pieces came off without a problem. Those pics are of the first door i did, the second looks much better

sound deadenerworks wonders. i didnt actually use dynamat as its over priced. theres plenty of other similar non brand name sound deadeners out there.
