I would buy a Ram again but I would not name my daughter Ram. Something tells me my wife would make sure the couch and I were well aquainted.

You can sit here and bash the powerstroke all you want. You can go to a ford forum and listen to them bash the cummins all day long. Its an opinion, my opinion is i like the ford diesel better than the dodge. Everybody is entitled to their own.

I love my truck the patriot pearl blue is the best color I have ever seen, I get tons of complements. I went with the 4.7 flex, for 3 reasons, first couldn't afford the CTD, 2nd only ones in the color I wanted in the area were all 4.7's, and last I can't stand MDS, hopefully Dodge will listen and get rid of it on the trucks, good idea for a car, but not a truck. This is the 2nd D150 I have owned, and I have had 3 dakotas. I love the slight redesign of the 2007

Working at a Ford and Chrysler dealer for 3 years, I can tell you we have about 50 powerstrokes to every 1 cummins in the shop. (No joke). The diesel tech could do a head gasket on a powerstroke two hours less than the job estimate. From my personal experience, powerstrokes have no reliability what so ever.

well... my mom spoke up on the subject too... she said this (in a Croatian accent, kinda like german and russian put together):

"ya! i lahv dodge carrs. dey arre verry rrehlayable. end i lahved da kastamerr serveece. verry, verry prrofeshanal! ok, lets eat deener now!"

i spelt it out the way it sounded...
