Default my mpg with the MDS...

ok... i found out the trick for amazing gas mileage with the HEMI MDS!!!! i am getting 40.7 mpg right now. stock truck. i filled up last night. i did 60hwy/40city driving. my mpg keeps going up and up!! here the trick:

keep the RPMs between 1500 and 2500. when accelerating dont go over 2750-3000. make sure you keep RPMs at about 2000 the whole time. look, if i had a camera, id take a pic of this. i swear to god im getting the 40.7mpg! i drive on the freeway between 60-65 mph with the cruise control on. the mpg is gonna keep going up. ill let ya know what it is when i get home from school today.

yeah, just dont mash it too hard. when you go under 1500 RPMs, the engine chugs and wastes more gas. and when its over 3000 RPMs, you guzzle like a ****! so if ya wanna save gas with your 2006+ HEMI with the MDS, do this and youll be happy to see that it works! well, unless they put a prius engine in my truck, this should work with anyother MDS...

Not to burst your bubble, but it looks like you need to have your overhead console recalibrated. Or you coast down hills a lot which fools the system as well. Or you felt like making an April Fool's joke 10 days late. If by some crazy miracle you are getting that mileage (pen and paper calculated), keep that truck forever. The gas savings would be worth a fortune.

I agree. Sounds like your Computer might need calibrated. I'm getting about 19 highway, 14 City. Do the paper and pencil method and let us know what you got.

There is no way you could get that much MPG. 5.7L HEMI?? 40+ MPG?? Don't think so. You are going to have to take your truck to get the overhead console checked out. Don't believe everything you read up there.
