2002 QC 4.7 vs. Subaru STI
Ok, I need a little help here please. I've had my baby (2002 1500 QC 4.7) for about a year and I love it. However, my friend (who is an import guy) has a Subaru STI AWD and thinks that he can outpull my truck. I looked up the specs on both engines and it turns out that we have about the same torque (the 4.7 puts out 290 ft. lbs. and the STI puts out 300 ft lbs. because it is turbo charged).
So if we tied the car and truck together with a strap and pulled each other at full boar, who would be able to pull who? Assuming that I would be in 4X4 Low and I have pretty aggressive tires and he has AWD with racing tires.
What do you guys think?

this is a joke right??? look at the mass of your car to his and the gearing ratio. If the two engines were on block stand his would win, but because of the weight of you truck and the gearing of the trucks he would have no shot...

If you win, that is to be expected but what if you lose?

yah ummm i dont know that i can really comment on this without laughing my *** off....seriously dude, a subaru vs. a ram in a pulling contest lmao......like the others said, if you do it then video tape it and throw it up on youtube so i can laugh when his car is in a million peices
