Default Superchips and codes

Is the computer still capable of throwing engine codes if superchips supposedly replaces the programming? Basically, is the computer system still able to tell you if something is wrong?

Yes.

The Super Chips Tuner can and will give you a readout of the codes, with an explanation of some or most can't remember, might be all of em.

You can also disable codes as well, no idea why you would want to that, but it is an option of the SCT.

You'll be fine... remember that the SC Flashpaq is supposed to be a code reader too.

I know it can read codes, but let's say something goes goofy in the engine. Will my cel or other idiot lights light up telling me that there is a problem or do I have to hook up the superchips now and then and check to see if any codes were thown?

I've got a superchips and I just blew a fuse on Saturday. My check engine light came on and checked the code. Everything worked great. I looked up the code in the book and then researched it on the web.
