Which programer should i go with?
I am sure there are a bunch of these around the forum, but i do not feel like searching. And im sure there all different situations anyways.
I want one that is good for performance. I do not tow/haul anything. It is my daily driver also so i would want something to change from 87 during the week to 93 during friday nights when i go to the track. As of now all i have is a K&N 77 series and high flow cat and the exhaust dumps out about 3 feet after that with no muffler.

I just installed my Superchips Flashpaq yesterday and although I have a but more tuning to do I felt a significant increase in the pull from 3000 to 4500 RPMs. From everything I've read on this forum, Superchips has the edge on programmers. Plus, it can be updated via the internet...
I've got the superchips and I like it alot. You can really tell the difference when the truck shifts. I do notice a slight power difference but I didn't really expect that much out of it anyway. The trouble code reader is really nice also.
Well, the thing is, they do not make a flashpack for my year. They has the regular version (atleast from what i see opn there site). Is there any different between the two?

I think that the option for diagnositics and the ability to do 1/4 mile times and such are options only on the flashpaq, that and ability to connect to your computer for updates.
Flashpaqs do have more options available on them. Unfortunately, they don't make them for every model out there. They Max Micro Tuners are pretty good. They also have feature that varyfrom model to model.

I am running a Superchips tuner, gibson exhaust, and an AEM Brute Force cold air intake. Together, my truck is night and day different. Better MPG also.

I don't suppose you have a sound/video clip of your Truck? I am interested in hearing the gibson Exhaust system.
Thanks
