Default Possible MDS questions

First one. When I am driving in the city 35 -40ish and MDS has kicked in (I assume) if the truck is under a very, very light load it starts to feel like it is (best way for me to describe it) starting to trailer hitch(like you are pulling a trailer and it sometimes pushes you then pulls you). Does anyone else have that feeling with theirs?

Second one. When cruising down the interstate, 60 – 70ish (cruise control on or me just keeping it steady) I notice that it feels and looks (according to the tach) that the torque converter is locking and unlocking quite a bit. But it is only jumping up and down like 250 – 300 rpms. Never seen a convert lockup at only a 300rpm difference before. Anyone else’s do this too?

MDS also causes an rpm drop. That may be what you're noticing.

So MDS also has control over the automatic transmission? Are there any 5 speed manual guys out there then? Curious to see if they don’t have it then. If they are locked into say 5th gear and mds kicks in they should not see the drop in rpms as they do not have the slipping of the converter as the auto people have. Great does this mean MDS is going to put premature wear on my trans? If so I wonder if I can get the dealer to program it off so they don’t have to fix it in the future!!

I dont know if it can be programmed off from the dealer but the 6.1 cam kit will remove mds, and give more power.

Ooooooooh....more power, me likey!!!
How much more power?....does anyone make a 6.1L cam kit that won't disengage MDS?

Also isn't our transmission covered by the 70k (or 100K I can't remember which) drive train warranty?

Guess if I had so many questions I should have started my own damn thread! Hah!
