anyone know what the max towing capacity is for the 2006 dodge ram quad cab with 5.7 hemi engine also has the tow haul package?

 

are you talking about pulling off the hitch or the bumper? Or just the maximum amount the truck can pull? Cuz the bumper has a certain weight capacity, the hitch has a higher weight capacity and then i'm sure the truck is capable of more than both of them but you can't exceed the first two or your asking for trouble?

 

If i'm not mistaken, there's two ratings, if you have the 3.92's or the 3.55's.

3.92's 8500
3.55's 7500

Any one else have different information?

 

i have the tow package so i have the tow hitch (thats a must) as far as what size gears i have, im not sure??? anyone know?

i wanna say you have the 3.92 gears. you do have the Big Horn. and the Big Horn upgrades all those things. get your window sticker and check it.thats the easiest way.

I don't know the conversion cuz math makes my head hurt.

But if the average NDG weighs 102lbs I should beable to carry 79 or 80of them on a 1000lb flat bed trailer?

 

79 of them in that trailer. you will also have 42 lbs. left over for 42 lbs. beer!
