Default New Tires

Right now I have stock tires on my truck (Goodyear R/TS) ... I'd like to put something a little more aggresive on but nothing that is too, too loud on the highway. What do you guys think of this tire? I would like to trade a little highway noise for some beef on the mud, grass and snow. I appreciate any input ... thanks!

tread pattern looks pretty decent. I'm not familiar with the brand though so i can't really comment on the tread wear. Mickey Thompson makes an awesome A/T tire though.

The traction looks similar to most AT type tires. The noise will be louder than stock tires but not very loud when compared to serious off road tires like Super Swampers of Mud Rovers. As far as the durability of the rubber I don't know because I have not heard of that type of tire either.

my dad just got mastercraft courser C/Ts on his truck and they are awesome. a little more aggresive thanan A/T but less aggressive than an M/T. they look awesome and he gets compliments all the time. and even though we never have any snow here so it doesnt matter for us, they are very popular up north because they have holes in them to stick metal studs or cleats or something. i forget how it works but apparently people that drive in the snow alot use these tires with the little metal things stuck in them for increased traction.

I would go with BF Goodrich or Coopers before ever going with the General products.

Ran the General's on a Ram Charger that was a family beater/plow truck. Mileage was pretty good and it handled the snow really well. If the price is right I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger. And I've had the BFG's before too and liked them, but if the Generals were better priced I'd take them. Just my $.02

They are 265/70/17's and they are $98 a piece. They look pretty good for the cost.
