Default dodge w/ 3in lift. Max size tire ??

Bout to lift my '03 dodge ram 2500 3in and just wondering if anyone has this amount of lift and wondering whats the max size tire that can be run ? If you have non-factory wheels whats the offset if you know ? What offset do you recommend? Any rubbing w/ what you have ? Thinking of a 18in or 20in wheel w/ 35in tire (give or take).Voice your opinions about either/or. If you have this set-up some pics would be appreciated. Just trying to get a feel of my options. Thanks !!

Well on paper I am supposed to have a 2" lift, but in reality it was closer to 3". I am running 35" Pro-Comps on a 17X9 Mickey Thompson Classic Lock with 5" of backspacing. The tire sticks out about 2-3 inches past the fender, so I have no rubbing issues at all, but as soon as I hit a puddle,bye-bye clean truck. I liked the tucked look so I actually may go back to stock rims. Finding tires for 17 inch wheels is expensive enough, I couldn't imagine paying to find something to fit 18-20's.

I have a 07 1500 with a 4 inch lift by Fabtech and 325/60R20 Tires and 20x9 wheels. I think the tires are about 35 inches. I haven't had any issues with rubbing yet, but I haven't done any serious off roading yet, just down to Pismo for a weekend.
