I have a 2003 (new body style) ram 2500 reg cab 4x4 V10....thinking about an exhaust but wondering if anyone has experience with these? I have heard some V10s before and with the wrong system they sound obnoxious. Local shop reccomends Flowmaster 70 series muffler, becuase im wanthing it to turn out with a low rumble instead of high pitched like some i have heard. Any suggestions on where to turn would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

I have a hemi, but after intake and headers my magnaflow was so horribly loud I couldn't stand it anymore. It was so loud it had this subtle crackle pop sound when you started it up for floored it. And no it wasn't fueling or backfiring. It sounded like a pro drag car. I got this and am very happy.

I think the shop guy might be right.
