02 RAM 1500 4.7L need exhaust input!!!!
I just put in my K&N CIA and am very pleased with it. Now it's time to upgrade my exhaust. I have a family so the 40 series flowmaster is too loud I was wondering if any one has installed the 50 series delta flow muffler single in dual out the back on their 4.7 L? Any advice would be nice. Thanks

I have no experience with the Flowmaster but I did just install a Borla ProXS and it has a nice deep rumble with little cab resonance at all....especially at highway speeds. It's been wife approved and costs about the same as a Flow but you get stainless.
I have a 50 series delta flow on my '03 4.7. I love the way it sounds and wouldn't trade it for anything else. At idle, it's just a low rumble that is only heard well up close. Crusing, you have to turn off the radio to listen for it. At WOT, it's a tamed beast. I would only call it 'loud' at WOT.It's a muffler that will satisfy your sound need when you want it, but still keep the family happy with no annoying humming. I have mine dumped after the axle so i get a good reflection off the pavement but no annoying interior drone that's typical of a muffler dumped under the cab. I love love love it
Man that sounds awesome I appreciate your input. I had the SUV 50 series on my expedition and it was a little quiet so I think the 50 delta would do the trick. What size pipes are you running out of the muffler?
Thanks again
Thanks again
Ricker, the difference in pipe sizes allows for more back pressure is that why you like yours better? Is your louder then your bro's?
thanks

Don't put straight pipes on. Mine is loud as hell with tons of interior noise. I think my gas mileage went down also. I had a 50 series on before my little "accident". I didn't have enough money to fix so just clamped a pipe up there.I'm no timpressed
It's not louder, just sounds slightly different. To anyone else, it sounds the same. But it's just a small thing I notice. Yeah I have more back pressure than him. Which is actually a good thing with these motors. Too much pipe leads to power loss. As far as the Superchips, do a search on the forum, there is plenty of info about these programmers.
