Yes, I use Dawn. It is the best soap I have found to use prior to waxing because of its great oil/grease removal "Wax does not stick to oil or grease".

Yep, I know it will remove it if I rub it anywhere on the body. Most of the time I take my time to keep the rag wet but not dripping and just rub out the white marks. I wax at least twice a month and if I can it is every Sunday so it is not far away that I am waxing again.
