i have an 05 dodge ram hemi 2wd 4 door truck. i can not find anywhere that tells me what the size of thestock door speakers are can anyone help? i know the grilles are round but from the little info i can gather two of them are obround. can anyone help??? thanks.

open up the panel and take em into the store or whatever. thatll do the trick.

 

Mine were round in back and oblong in front. Cant remember what size but I put a Kicker in both doors in back to replace the stocks, then cut a hole in each door panel and mounted a kicker tweeter in each, and then put a crossover on each side. For the life of me though I can remember what size they were in back. Oh yeah, I also cut out the "gril" that was molded into the door from the factroy so I could use the kicker grill cover piece---it looked cooler IMO.

 

^^Yeah, I was just gonna say the same thing. ^^ Sounds like you are going to change em out anyway, so just pull the panel. You'll learn more that way (mount, mounting depth).

crutchfield isnt too good witht hat man. i buy **** from them, but their outfitting of a car is pretty bad.

speakers in four locations. One 15.2 X 22.8 centimeter

(6 X 9 inch) full-range speaker is located in each

front door. There is also one full-range 13.3 centimeter

(5.25 inch) diameter full-range speaker located in

each rear door.

PREMIUM

The optional premium speaker system features

eleven Premium model speakers in seven locations.

Each of the standard speakers is replaced with Premium

model speakers. One 8.8 centimeter (3.50 inch)

diameter speaker is located on each end of the

instrument panel top pad. One 6.3 centimeter (2.50

inch) diameter speaker is located in the center of the

instrument panel top pad. One 15.2 X 22.8 centimeter
