hey folks, first post here.

I got a 2006 1500 sport, flame red. Some idiot in a pay lot backet in to my bumper putting a nice bend in it. Rather than going through insurance, and a body shop and all that i'd much rather replace it myself.

Problem is i can't seem to find any of the sport (body-color matched) bumpers around that have been already painted. I've seen a few on ebay but they are already primed and would cost me as much as if i had dealer or shop supply one then paint it.

Surely a junk yard somewhere would have a wrecked one that i could take the bumper off of. The brackets and everythink else are fine, i just need the bumper.

Any good links or numbers i can call to try to track one down?

yeah. i was gonna say the junk yard. i think that it would be your best choice, well, best first choice really. hm... that carpart site is fun to browse through! lol.
