02 Ram 4x4 question (leveling torsion keys)
I have a 2002 Ram 4x4 Standard Cab SLT . I want to level the front of the truck to be closer to the rear. I have seen the leveling torsion keys (2.5-3in raise)but i was wondering do they basically do the same as cranking down the bolts on the stock torsion keys. Same as in still needing an alignment and still changes the axle angles and other drivetrain/suspension componet angles. And still decreases drivetrain/suspension componets life? If so is there any reason to buy the level keys or can i get basically the same effects as previously stated saving myself $200-$300.
Thanks

I did a real nice write up on turning the bars, with pics and everything. As long as you keep the CV axles within factory tolerances you should be fine. I had no problems getting mine aligned and the alignment shop verified that everything was well within factory ranges. Not right at the edge of OK. It took me about an hour, measuring and all.
