Default slow fuel gauge

got down to about 3/4 tank of fuel and decided to fill up and when i drove off i noticed the fuel gauge still in the same position, as i drove home the 1 mile, it started to creep up to just below the F, kinda quirky but its never done this before. (thought the fuel i put in had gold in it making the gauge slow...) anyone else run into the gauge being extremely slow? thanks

do you have the overhead console? if you do have you ever watched the DTE on there and see if that slowly counts up too?

mine does same thing, but the overhead doesn't do it. It shows the right mile right off the back.

Does it still do this if you turn the key off then back on?

My company vehicle does this but it is a Ford.
