so i was bored and decided how much it would cost me to build up my truck the way i want, and keep in mind this is just approximate and is strictly engine mods. not all of this is set in stone and like i said, i was just curious....so anyways, after i got prices of everything i want and here's the total approximate cost.....$14,893.81

i didnt have prices for some things so i just guessed and made up a price for it (rods, pistons, aux fuel pump, injectors) but the price includes: STS turbo, garret 35-61 turbo upgrade, boost contoller, boost gauge, A/F ratio gauge, B.O.V., intercooler, APS torque convertor, KRC turbo cam, KRC heads, pcm reflash, rods & pistons, smt6 tuner, aux fuel pump, new injectors.

ok now i know some of this stuff isnt needed but i figured what the hell, just include it anyway....so yah if ya cant tell...i wanna go fast

 

why would u just get a pcm flash with a hand held tuner? if your spending that much $ do things right...go get a dyno tune

i know, im just sayin, if you were to do even half of that, it would be more beneficial to get a dynotune rather than tune with a hand held programer

Now all we have to do is win the lottery! LoL

 

You could get a stroker 392 setup in your 5.7 for about 3 grand instead of the upgraded internals. Add the heads and turbo to that and you'll have a beast. You might want to look at getting the sharadon tranny kit too, to help handle all of that power.

yeah don't we all wish, thats what my son always says to me when he asks for something and i tell him i dont have the money... try explaining to a 3 year old how you have to have money for that check in the bank already....doesnt work

 

its sad, but it happens everyday to most kids...hopefully it will just instill the value of a dollar in him...i know i was/am spoiled, but before i every got anything, i had to bust my *** for my dad....even as a young child...im 19 now, have no credit cards, no debt, and spend my money very selectively and make sure i have extra money for after i purchase whatever it is that i want, just incase something happens, you know? when i was 9or 10 i started a lawn mowing business and saved 50% of what i made...by the end of the summer, i mowed atleast 3 yards a day 4/5 days a week and still did **** around my house...thats a lot forsomeone that young...but it tought me responsibility.....now, i dont save 50%, but i make sure i have extra money just incase and dont spend money i dont have....i know some instances you may have to spend money you dont have, but so far ive been pretty good on having a reserve

hopefully u can teach him the same values
