How do I know if I have a limited slip diff? I searched and read another thread, tried putting one wheel on road and one on dirt, I left tread on the street. Does that mean I have it?
Do you still have your window sticker? If so, it will be listed under the "Optional Equiptment", I believe it was a $50 Upgrade.

From what I've seen the SLT Mega (mine) has 4 wheel ABS standard, correct? Also, I have no Trac button so I assume no Trac Control.
As far as I know ABS IS standard, Maybe someone else will know for 100%? As for Traction Controll, I assume the same as you, No Trac Controll button = No Electronic Tranction Controll.

How do I find out what gearing my diff has?
Again, Do you still have your windows sticker? If So, It should be listed on the window sticker. Its Probably 3.92, that's Standard Equiptment.

My alarm light comes on for a few seconds when starting the engine, but if I open the door after locking it with the FOB, no alarm. Only asking this in case it might be broken. It won't light when I lock via FOB.
That is normal, the Alarm light in your case (and mine), is used for the transponder key system, You can program additional keys yourself as long as you have 2 keys already programmed, and the light aids in this process. You only have Keyless entry, not an Alarm, thus no action when opening a locked door.

Can the new retained power option of the '07s be fitted to the '06? My'01 Celi has that functionality in the door controls, so maybe a simple swap?
I have no Idea what you are talking about here so I can't help on that.

Enjoy your new truck! I too have an '06 MegaCab 4x4, its an awesome truck. Drives greatfor being as big as it is. I just hope it gets better MPG once it breaks in!

How many miles on it?

I get 12.5 Avg every tank. (Filled up 3 times).

I only have just over 1,000 miles on mine.

Is there a traction control on the 07's?

Yes, it is an option and it also adds 4-wheel ABS, but you can have 4-wheel ABS without Trac Control.
