its something like buckle your seat belt turn truck on unbuckle and buckle 3 times with 10 seconds or something like that. The exact sequesnce is in your owners manual or you can do a search on here theres a few posts about it.

Sorry to be the butthole here but maybe it's a hint that wearing seatbelts save lifes and you should wear your seatbelt.

seat belts do save lives but it should be a personal choice, i say if he doesnt want to wear it and wants the chime off why should he be able to?

i say we ram him into a tree at 50 miles an hour without a seatbelt first and if he survives then try it with a seatbelt and see which way he likes better. i agrre that you should be able to chose but like pirata says it does serve a purpose, plus what do you have to lose by not wearing one. it doesnt make you look cool to your friends if you dont wear one. LOL!

buckle seatbelt
start truck
unbuckle and buckle 3 times in 10 seconds
you will hear a beep, this means it worked

do the same to turn it back on

and for those of u saying he shouldnt turn it off ect....i turned mine off, i still wear the seatbelt 99% of the time though....we have a year round hunting lease and im always out there and i go to friends farms ect all the time, is it really necessary to wear your seatbelt going a few mph when you cant see any man made structures for miles besides your vehicle, this is the 1% when i usually dont where my belt......its situational guys, just because some of u dont see 1 sq foot of grass on your way to work doesnt mean all people drive in the same conditions as you

and im the person who always checks to see and reminds someone to put their belt on wether its my car and im driving or im a passanger in a friend of a friends car

I agree with Night_Runner I where mine 99% of the time as well, but I have mine turned off for when I am at the lake and going from the cabin to the water or if I out hunting and just driving a back road at like 5 mph. Otherwise you'll never catch me without a seat belt and you won't catch anybody in my truck without one. It is also annoying if a passenger is sitting in the car and the driver had to run in and they have to listen to it.

and im short, so sometimes when backing up at night, if i cant get a good angle with the dark lighting, ill stick my head out the window and take a peak, but since im short i have to unbuckle the seatbelt and then that gets annoying too...just because u have it turned off doesnt mean you automatically dont wear it
