Default Shift hesitation

Has anyone experienced a shift hesitation/drop inRPMfrom 1st to 2nd gear at about 20 MPH ? Seems to happen more when you try to accelerate quickly from a stop, but also sometimes when just accelerating normal. Dealer told me this is normal (I have an '07 Hemi QC) but it seems not right to me and even a bit dangerous if trying to get out into traffic. I have had a drop in RPM at higher speeds (50) and attributed this to MDS. Drive with OD off, which helps at higher speeds, but still have the hesitation at lower speed.

Default RE: Shift hesitation

i just recently had this problem with my 05. Took it into the dealer and they did tons of test and found nothing, wasnt throwing any codes, so they said i probly need a transmision service since i hadnt had one yet and truck has 75k on it already, so did that, 300 bucks later its the same and so then they tell me that its because i have oversized tires on, so i put my stock rims and tires on there and still the same, sooo took it back again and they did more tests and turned out to be a preasure valve in the transmision wasnt working, replaced that and all is fine now, maybe get them to check that out

Thanks. I'll try that. I only have 8 K on it but this has been happening since I got the truck. I notice it more since I put a K&N and new muffler on it. Probably more because of the sound though than the problem getting worse.
