Spot free shine after washing
I read a post a while back on here that said after washing, rinse your truck with the full stream from the hose and not the sprayer, and it will dry with less or no spots. I figured ya right. I did this yesterday and it really worked. Try it. Red
ya just let the natural pressure from the hose gently rinse off your truck....i wouldnt use mr clean mainly because i dry it with a combo of a silicone blade and chameo and then im going to either 1-wax it anyway or 2-atleast use detail spray anyway so the extra $ spent on mr clean wouldnt do anything for me....but maybe it will for u
Ok
I had a Mr Clean and I liked it, but filter replacement went to fast here because we must have extra hard water. LoL
I mean like 1 maybe 2 times and filter was dark brown.
So late one night I thought to myself "Self I said" I wonder ifwe could come up with a better way? And me myself and I thought real hard. I fell asleep but me and myself stayed up for a bit longer and came up with this idea, and it actually worked.
Went to Lowes bought a Whole House Filter system with the big ends that fit a standard garden hose for $15 (upgraded to the better micron carbonreplacement filter $5) made a short section of hose out of an old garden hose ($2 in hose clamps and hose ends hardware) got a nice Spray nozzle $5, andbolted it all to a piece of wood frame (PVC could prolly work as a frame and look much cooler). This systemlast for a bout 30 to 35 washes andreplacement filters are about $5, cool. Also you still need to use a good wash detergent like the Mr Clean stuff (but if you look around you can find alternatives like Kit). Ahh but you still gotta use the Bucket, Rag and Elbo method. Hehe
Under $35 and it works pretty darn good.

I am a big fan of the Meguires Quick Detailer... I still wash my truck roughly once a week but I use the detailer spray after the truck dries to remove all the water spots. I also use it to wash off bird **** before it can damage the paint. I use it when I just detailed my truck and want to keep it nice for a few days and not flinch when I drive through a little water on the road. Also great to take the pollen off this time of year. Use it with the Meguire Microfiber towels, best quality. I used to use the Mr Clean religiously, but got tired of replacing filters and such, and still get occasional bad washes where there are lots of spots. This method just works better. Damn... imagine how many toys we all could buy for our trucks if we got paid for all the advertising we do for these companies.
Also check out the guide to detailing under the detailing forum... awesome info... lots of info... thought I knew a lot... found out a lot of tricks.

I got the "permawax" something like that finish to my truck. I wash then I let my truck dry all by itself. Waterspots, if any, who cares it's a truck.
