The Guide to Detailing (multi hour read found in the detailing forum) is a wealth of information with lots of hints and tricks that I probably wouldn't have come up with on my own

I'll put it this way, value and getting the stuff the cheapest is not on my mind at all. My theory is that if your gnna spend 30k or so if i get the hemi sport or 40k or so if it's a CTD then wtf is 116 dollars to take care of the paint????? I'd spend 500 dollars a year to take care of the paint on my truck and not even complain. Thanxs for the tips I just know I want this truck to last a long long long long time. I wanna be the old dude with the sick nasty classic truck that makes all the youngins jealous. Which is a long time since i'm only 18 now lol. and buy chance if you could possibly pm me if you've got time of course your procedure for detailing ur dak, looking at pics it looks like this zaino stuff does a real good job. It's much appreciated if you could do that.
Also just google around....believe it or not there are forums that are absolutely nothing but detailing..not detailing a dodge or chevy, but anything!!! True car care enthusiasts!! You want to spend $500? Then get it professionally done, if you are going to do it yourself, at least get a Porter-Cable. I like Klasse because it works on glass, chrome, etc.

Oh yea, you don't put wax on a sealent. A sealent replaces a wax. The difference is a sealent is a chemical shield that does not contain any wax but does the same thing, it protects.

Like I said... look into the Guide to Detailing... there is some process the author came up with that he swears by utilizing a sealent and a wax

i dont think duso was saying its bad to use both a sealant and a wax, just kind of an overkill....
