First Post and First question
i dont have a hemi seeing as how they dont put them in the dakotas
actually, the durango has a bigger engine bay.....and idk if the mounts are even in the same locations...im sure something could definately be done, but it would be a lot of $, a lot of knowledge (im not too knowledgeable about engines, just know basics), and a lot of time.....id love to see it though
It was something I wondered about when they changed the body styles, thought it would be cool to have a smaller, lighter truck with the hemi. If the structure is the same, mounts wise, and the wiring is doable, it wouldn't be hard at all. It would be like a factory bolt in that never happened. I bet you could take the bus harness from a Durango and it would go right in. If so, it would be damn near plug and play.
Multiple Displacement System. Effectively shuts down 4 cylinders at cruising speeds to maximize fuel economy. Started out in the car hemi's, but trucks didn't get it until 06.
