Im not for sure if this is the right place to psot this if not move it lol i called up to get a price of how i was wanting my straigh pipe installed all im goning to do is run one pipe off of where the muffler bolted on at and run it straight all the way back and angling out the side like the stock exasut did so duals are going into one pipe and coming out one pipe so it should be pretty loud mabey not as loud as it was with no pipe at all but still about teh same i would think, but what do yall think? btw its only going to be 110 bucks to get it done lol.
Um...isnt that basically how the exhaust on yours is now...dual pipes going into one? I dont think a "straight" pipe would work either, you gotta get it around alot of stuff, the rear axle included.
no no when i say traights i mean no muffler instead of there being a glass pack flowmaster or sumthing else there it will jsut be a striaght pipe and then it will have the bends for the axel and stuff.
It would sound like a glasspack. Midas has a straight through muffler that would sound good on your truck, it's called a "Golden Turbo". Might want to look into that or run just a resonator off a Hemi truck.
I have a flowmaster cat back i got from summit for $320 delivered. I love the sound and the way it looks. Exits behind the rear wheels with stainless tips. I put it on in my driveway in about 1/2 hr.
Leave it the way it is that will be the cheapest. I wouldn't think it would sound good without a muffler it will probably do that popping at higher rpms.
it sounds awsome but it only pops when it shifts if im really on it hard but far as that it dont pop at all going down the road..now if i rev it up thats another story lol
