so i saw a question a few pages down from this one asking about a supercharger for the V6 ram. I too am lookin for one. Has any one had any luck finding one? im dyin to do this i wanna do it now while i have the cash.

what size rims are those, bolt pattern and offset? do you have any problems turning them (gas milage and loss of power) supercharger i dont know

 

theyre 20" with 5 bolt pattern i think its 10mm offset. not a noticeable difference in mpg but i know for sure that theyre heavy.

The thing about getting a supercharger is....you'd have to do some other stuff to your truck so it doesnt crap out from all the power. Its not really built to be a performance engine after all. Seeing as how our transmissions, already arent the greatest, you'd have to uprgrade that most likely.

Someone help me out here, because this is just from what I have personally heard. Theres probably other stuff you'd have to do, just i dont have that much knowledge yet.

If I keep my truck long enough, i'm probably gonna want one too.

 

it has something to do with the piston rings to close to the top of the pistons.they wear out to fast
there was a supercharger out for the v-6 but they pulled it after motor failures

just do a
catback duel out
powerwire
electric fan
fastman TB
wicks filter
jeep tube

and be happy with what ya got,its a v-6 and it still puts out more power than a late 70's and 80's v8
its a great motor,i have a 03 standard cab with a 5 manual pulls my 20' boat fine and gets 21 mpg daily
i love it

 

get new gears too. the v6's are at what, a 3.55? most likely yes. my HEMI has the 3.92. maybe put in the 3.92 or 4.56 in your truck, thats what im gonna do.and add the mods just above my post. you can probably add a superchips tuner to it as well! i hope it all works out for ya.
