Default tranny question

i just wanna start my saying,hey[sm=americanasmiley.gif]........anyway i just serviced my tranny last week, removed and cleaned the pan, cleaned magnet, changed both filters, filled with +4..........(is the round filter for a cooler?)
my question is : did i leave something out? because sometimes i'll get in and the truck will feel like it has a 5000 stall, only sometimes.......and the downshift isn't like it was....
is there something i need to adjust............
truck is 05 ram 4.7 quad swb....26k

thanks

hey notman, welcome. My guess is that you're low on tranny fluid because I had same thing after I changed. Check fluid level again with engine warm, not hot, and on level ground. I think the new filters absorb over a quart of fluid. Only other step I took during tranny change was to drain the converter (there's 9 quarts in there that you can't get with a pan drop). This is a good link for tranny fluid change

If you didn't have a problem before the service, I would drop the pan and ck the seal on the filter going into the pump. It may not seated all the way into the pump, causing to suck air not fluid.
