RE: 2004 Ram HEMI owners
I'm going to check the gas cap as soon as I leave from work today. I didn't know the gas cap coould cause that. I think I just put the cap on and heard one click the last time I filled up. I'll try turning it a couple more times to see what happens. If that's not the case, I still have an appt. at the dealership in the morning. I'll let you guys know what happend. Thanks again.

RE: 2004 Ram HEMI owners
Well I went to the dealership this morning and it was not the gas cap. They said I had a small leak in the emissions. I can't remember where they said it was exactly, but they didn't have the parts in to fix it today, so I have to go back Friday for them to correct the problem.
Oh and repsol, I was told the reason the gas cap can trigger the CE light is because the tank has to have so much pressure in it. I don't know what the exact pressure is, but if the gas cap isn't on good enough, the pressure doesn't build up therefore the CE light engages.
Well, I now know what caused my CE light to go off. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. Take care.
