RE: 2007 Electric Blue Pearl QC Sport purchase advice???
yeaaa its just exactly like that one at my local dealership. As far as the question with the tow package on the sport model...my truck (sport model) didnt have a hitch but the bracket to mount one was there. So all I had to do was goto my local U-haul and get a hitch for $120 and bolt it onto the cross piece that was already there. The wiring was there too.

RE: 2007 Electric Blue Pearl QC Sport purchase advice???
Congrats on the truck, man! Your dealer experience really reminds me of the hell I endured when I bought a VW Jetta in '04. I searched high and low for the exact car I wanted (Jetta GLI in charcoal gray. The last of the leather and VR6/6 spd's), and finally had to have my local dealership bring one in from Savannah, GA. We worked out all the numbers on the price and my trade in on my '02 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4. A FULL MONTH AND A HALF LATER when they finally get my damn car in (was only supposed to take a few days) they tried to tell me that my truck was now worth less and the car was worth more.
After arguing and waiting 2 hours to get this all worked out, they finally conceded that they would honor the numbers they came up with a month and a half prior. What really annoyed me was that my sales rep didn't do all of the paperwork and stuff. They dumped me off to a Finance guy who did all the money-paperwork. An hour after that (are you counting the time here...?) he finally came back with the paperwork for me to sign. The payments came out to $451/and change for 60 months. I told him that the price we (read: the sales rep and myself) agreed on was $450. He was like, "yeah, this is pretty much four-fifty". I stood up and walked out. I was DONE. I was really ready to just say "**** it" and not get the car. It took four people to get me to come back in and sit down, as well as them offering to buy me lunch! I know it's just the principle of it, but I got my $450!
Unfortunately the rest of my VW ownership experience mirrored my buying experience. It was a fun little car, but I ended up trading it in just over a year later for my Ram. I don't regret it for a minute!!!!
As far as it being a bad dream... When I was deployed last year I was already missing everything "home". I remember having a dream where I was on leave up north and traded the truck in for another '04 Jetta GLI (I'll admit, I *do* miss driving it). In the dream about a week later, back here in Little Rock, I suddenly realized that it was a bad mistake and I missed my truck. I was frantically calling back to the dealership (I think it was in Virginia) trying to see if they still had it. I remember the feeling being that of like the one you have when you find out someone has died or the like...you know, that "punched in the gut and helpless" feeling. When I woke up, I had that "thank God that was just a nightmare" feeling. Hahaha... sounds stupid, but that's when I really knew that I had the right vehicle!!!

RE: 2007 Electric Blue Pearl QC Sport purchase advice???
Sorry to jump in so late but I've been on vacation. Very nice truck and not to bad of a deal. Mine is an 07 QC Sport 4X4 that stickered for 40K and I ended up financing 22,500 with $9,000 down in trade and cash. I'm in love with the color too and to answer someones question on here I do have a factory tow package with mine. I just need to get off my **** and get more pics uploaded. Again congrats on the purchase.
