Try getting ahold of sharadon performance. They actually dropped a 6.4l in a hemi ram, and they specialize in mopar performance upgrades.

if your going to yank the motor just keep the 5.7 and throw some 6.1 heads and cam on it. The size isn't that much of a difference. Its less then half a liter. Now if I had a spare 6.1 lying around then maybe I'd throw that in there but I'm sureyou could get the head intake cam combo for less then an actual6.1 motor. Keep us informed if you do swap the motors. I'd like to know how it turns out.

To really make good use of the 6.1 heads, you would need to get the converted intake for it, the port sizes are vastly different between the 6.1 and 5.7.

You could also try putting in a stroker kit in your 5.7. There's kits out there that up the displacement to 392

I know in my research I read somewhere that just throwing the 6.1 heads on without cc work throws your compression ratio off quite a bit.

yeah, thehemishop sells heads and intakes with combinations for different compression ratios, depending on if you decide to go F/I or N/A
