Default Backseat Cover for Dog

Can anyone recommend a good slip on seat cover for the entire rear seat. I have a Golden Retreiver that can get pretty messy and it would be great if I can just pull off a dirty cover and put it in the wash without getting the seats all messed up. Any suggestions?

Can you, maybe a lady friend, use a sewing machine? Take some large bath towels and fab up some seat covers. Better that a dog rip through a $20 blanket than a $200-300 seat cover.

Yeah... that would work great too... I would probably go with that method, seeing how I can't sew, neither can the bride to be. Ahhh... but that is what we have mothers for.

Good ideas but I've already tried the towels and sheets ... it just looks ugly and with it not a custom fit and tied down it becomes a big ball and eventually the seats are exposed and Murphys Law says that if theirs an inch of seat exposed that's that part that will get all muddied up. I don't mind spending some money on a good seat cover that I will get good use out of.

I used a fitted double size bed sheet in the back seat of my F250, it worked great. The elastic around the corners hugged the top and bottom corners of the seat back and bottom, and I just tucked it in a little in the middle. Plus you can get one in just about any color/pattern (if that's important to ya), and they're cheap.

Love my Mega Cab, seats fold flat, I threw a big rug back there, dogs are all set.

thats true. us QC owners cant do that! damn you!! lol. thats what i did with my bed sheets, put the corners up and tuck em all in. it doesnt fall on me. my dogs are very squirmish too!! they absolutely love to run around in the truck. during the summer, im keeping them son of a bitches in the bed. tying them down so they dont jump. they tried to jump before and they put their cute little paws on my paint too. so i keep em tied down.

I have the fold-flat floor so that's an idea ... but my dog hates it if he can't see out the window. I'll try Walmart as suggested and see what they have. Hair loss on Golden's is another big issue so hopefully all the hair will get stuck to the seat cover and then I can just shake if off.
