If any one could help me with the issue of my governor, on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 with 5.7 hemi, I would be so grateful! The problem with it is, that the governor kicks on around at 90 mph!!! That sucks!!! How can I disengage the governor or do I have any other options! Thanks for your help..Rkay

 

90 is kinda slow, mine stopped it at 105.

Huh, I had to Superchip mine to go past 105. It now goes way past 105. But not very often.

 

I've hit 113 in my truck and didn't hit the governer yet. I was racing a girl on a speedbike because she had green neons on her bike and I have green neons under my truck

She was smokin hot to! I didn't get above that cuz I got whooped to bad and then at the next light a cop pulls up so PARTY OVER! haha

That's the fastest I've reached so far though

 

Yeah... haha... what city do you live in? I want to avoid it if you're doing 113 on a city street. What's your plan when grampa Jed pulls out in front of you going 23 mph in his cadillac?

 

I live in Houston Texas. Don't avoid me lol I'm a good driver and it was at around 3-4 in the morning. No grampas were on the street then haha BUT the girl on the bike was crazy. She would give me a headstart and then out of no where I look in my rearview mirrors and see her coming out of nowhere. This girl is swerving in and out of cars and riding in the other side of the street! She was a badass I have to admit.

 

Did 110mphin ashort sprint near Denver. Don't know if it would hold. Was trying to get out of the way of 3 semi's that were pelting me with rocks. Thought they weregoing to shatter my windshield. [:@]07 Hemi 1500 QC 4x4 w 285 Cooper SST mudders.

Sorry! Back to the question. I have been on a couple forums where guys are having this problem.A couple aftermarket programmers advertise this as being something that they can fix. Superchips Flashpac says it can. Check out their website. http://www.superchips.com/products.p...ailable+now%21. Hypertech is another one.
