Bye Bye SC Tuner

RE: Bye Bye SC Tuner
ORIGINAL: L and R Two
Well I called my dealer and he is getting me a different tuner. Most likely the Diablo. The SC tuner is not working for me. I praised it on a few other posts, but after running with it for a couple of weeks, I have had problems that I can not get rid of. First, my truck dies when I do "U" turns at least half the times. 3x's now driving locally and not on highway, the truck jumped, locked into 3rd gear and would not go into any others. No 1st, 2nd, or OD. Ran fine on the 87 tune but I got better gas mileage with the stock and the performance tunes. Good thing I had the Hemi with the torque to drive home in 3rd. I think if I had a smaller engine, that I would not be able to move from astop that good. Now that I have run on the stock tune for most of the day it almost seemed that the MDS is operating the way it should. The truck shifted at lower RPM's than it did with the tuner and it shifted through the 3rd and 4th much quicker when I reached low speed cruising through town. The truck doesn't downshift hard and seems to be a little smoother.
So here is my formal apology to all those that I praised the SC too and wish those same individuals good luck if they buy it. I know there are alot of people out there that are not having problems, but at the same time I also know there are alot of people that do. I fall into the people that do have the problem and it sucks. I will let you all know what I get and how it works.
