These train hornswill certainly get a driver's attention. Last summer while traveling north on I-95, near the NC/ VA state line, my little 2 1/2 yr old was pumping his fist up and down (to have them blow their horns) to all of the truckers passing by in the next lane, when one trucker sounded off with his train horn! You should have seen the heads snap and the brake lights come on from all of the surrounding cars/trucks!! It was hilarious and I amthinking about putting one of these horns on my extreme golf cart! (HA!)

I do not know what the 4 horn system sounds like but I can only imagine that it will be louder than the 3 horn. The dealer states the more horns, the louder. Seems logical, but then again, I think, the bigger the louder. Guess not, according to them. It is all about shape to get certain pitches. I should know that though as I played the trumpet some 20 years ago in elementary school.
the louder sound comes from the size air line going from the compressor to the horns...they sent me an inch air line and i replaced it with a 1 1/2 air line....let me tell you that it makes a big diffrence, only bad thing is that you dont get that many blasts out of a 3 liter tank...thinking of getting a bigger tank soon

what airhorn did you get? how can i find it on ebay? was it a dealer or was it private? links? thanks in advance!
I got the Quad Train Horn with Air System w/GMAX. Seller was Siegeengineering. This is the actual dealer and mfg. They sale through ebay. Their design and everything. They have sound clips on the models they sale. Do a search for them on Ebay and you will see what they have. I really wanted to get the 3 horn, just because of size but I am sure I will like the 4 horn. New the 3 horn is $209.00 plus shipping, so if you start bidding on a system don;t bid to high. You can call them directly and order one if you don't want to waste your time bidding. When I was bidding, I set up auto bidding up to $195.00. I won it for $166.01 plus the $22 shipping charges. The 3 horn went to $197.50, so I figured I got a good deal paying $50 less retail.

Right now they have 2 of the quad horn set ups ending tonight and the 3 horn set up ending Thursday.

Hope you get one.

Where did you put the compressor at? If I want it louder (which I will down the road) I will upgrade the tubing. How many blasts or time can you get out of the tank and how long does it take to recharge the tank. Not that I plan on going down the road using it every second of the day, ok maybe the first day I will.

I would really like to see pics if you have them of your setup. I need some ideas.

L & R. The setup you are getting will give you a couple of really good blasts before the tank needs to refill, only takes about a minute for the tank to fill back up.
This weekend I will take some shots of my installation and hopefully it will help you.
You want the shortest distance possible for all wiring and all air lines.
The larger diameter air line is a good idea if the compressor and tank are far away from the horns.
My installation design will put it about 8 inches away from the horns so you are going to get a really strong blast.
Trust me, people jump out of their skins when I fire those horns off and I have a 3 horn setup.
Its gonna take a couple of days for you to get the kit anyways so that should give me time to snap some pictures.
Send me your email address andI can get them to you faster that way.

To autobid, at the bottom of the item where you can place a bid (not the top), click place bid, then put in your maximum bid for the product. Ebay then will the minimum bid up to your maximum bid. When it gets near the end, like around the last minute, it will give you a chance to increase your maximum bid. I did not adjust mine because I was still $30 away from my maximum bid with only 30 seconds left.
