I like em both too FFMedic.
There was a post here a few weeks ago on how to make the SRT a functional forced air scoop (a kit) me thinks.

I wish I could afford to get one right now, but the wife just passed her motorcycle test and wants me to get her a Harley.

Gotta keep them wives happy. Looking at either a 4 door Jeep or a Audi A4 for the wife to be. I know that it is quite a differance between the two, but those are the options that we like.

Unless Audi has really upped their quality control, I'd opt for the Jeep. I know the Audi is a very nice vehicle, but my brother in law has a 2003 S4 and has nothing but recurring problems with it. I had a 2004 VW Jetta GLI (same platform) and although, just like the Audi, the car was a hoot to drive I had nothing but recurring problems with it. I don't need to tell you, but German auto parts are NOT cheap!

See, I am not the one totally thrilled with the idea of the Audi... She has a Jetta now (so does my mom and an aunt) and I am constantly trying to diagnose and fix issues... and you are right, there are plenty of them. I HATE doing anything to those cars, they are backwards, you can't change a headlight without pretty much disassembiling the front end, and stupid **** breaks (I hate those arm rests too). You need jacked up tools to do anything, and be a contortionist to change spark plugs, and I should have bought stock in lightbulbs. I have never spent so much money bringing a ride to a shop because I like to do the work myself. Even with the Chilton Manual, I am lost in the German engineering. I do have to say however, the S4 is an amazing vehicle, I have never sat in more comfortable seats... and the stylin is sick. But then again, that is a $55,000 ride. I could buy two jeeps for that... better yet, trade my truck in for a 3500 without the dually's and a CTD... damn that would be sweet. So yeah... I am voting for the jeep.

Check out Autotrucktoys.com. They've got an Air Grabber and several other hoods. The STS hood that i purchased can be functional and is cormat reinforced with a gel coat. They also had a shaker that was two piece, but i'm not sure of where to get the kit for straight to the throttle body.. I saw one somewhere for the charger. Search around. I'll post pics when I get mine completed.

I know they have the two piece for the chargers, but I don't think those go straight into the TB either, they take some twisty course to it. I can't really remember, I just remember it not looking right.

Yeah. That one on carhoods is two pieces, but I think it just mounts to the air hat or something. Seemed like too much of a hassle and research to bother with. I've only seen that one pic though. Hope the scoop will cool the engine bay some. I'm thinking of getting a pair ofelectric fans. Next mod is some headers. Anyone know if there's much of a performance difference between Gibson and JBA?
