I am not sure which one I should go with... I kinda like the fact the Keystone hood is a little differant, but not sure about the fiberglass vs steel. Keystone goes for $759 and the SRT10 goes for $676. A know a bunch of you have the SRT10 hoods, but has anyone gone to the fiberglass hoods? I am thinking of getting my truck two toned at the same time (gotta paint the hood anyways), a silver/grey over the factory red. I liked a truck that I found in a catalog that was two toned the same color scheme, you would have to use your imagination since the pictures is of a lowered ford, and I want to end up with a lifted dodge... and the picture is horrible but the only one I could find on their website.

SRT-10. I haven't found an aftermarket hood for the Ram that I really like as much as the plain old SRT-10 hood. I still haven't seen any good pics of the Shaker hood on a "regular" truck...

 

I actually prefer the SRT-10 hood over the majority of aftermarket hoods I've seen on the street. Is the SRT-10's air dam functional with the addition of a suitable intake modification or is it cosmetic?

Either way, love the aggressive stance of it!

i would go wit the srt hood, u know ur not gonna have any problems with it and it looks just as good as the other one.....

 

i liek them both but i do like the keystone hood a little bit better

 

I just ordered one for my truck yesterday. Got it from carhoods.com It's actually 1.25 inches taller than a srt-10. I can't wait to paint and get it on! I considered the shaker, but just wasn't sure. Do a google image for"dodge ram shaker". That'sHOT!

 

Are there any pics of the Shaker on a regular truck, and not just that one image of it on that show truck?

 

i have the srt-10 hood. i dont mind that hood, but i would never go fiberglass, one ball or anything falls on it just once, and its cracked

 

I personally like the srt-10 hood too or maybe if they had one like a "air grabber" hood if anyone knows of one.

 

I like that shaker hood too, and looked a bit into it... sounds like it is a one piece hood, and not a true shaker where the air goes right into the throttle body, it takes the same route as the other keystone/ good hoods that are out there. Is fiberglass hoods that fragile? I don't know too much about them. I do like the fact that the SRT10 hood is about $100 less then the goodhood... need that money to go to the paint job... what do ya'll think of the two tone?
