OK HERE GOES MY BEST FRIEND HAS A 2004 HEMI 2X2 AND SMOKES TIRES ALL DAY LONG AND HAS AWESOME PICK-UP MINE IS 2004 4X4 HEMI AND SEEMS NOT TO BURN WHEELS AND PICK UP NOT AS FAST AT ALL. I KNOW MINE IS A LITTLE HEAVIER BUT WOWWW SHOULD IT BE THAT MUCH DIFFERENCE---HELP ME OUT HERE--THANKS JESSE

 

I think it is your electronic throttle control... I read somewhere on here that it keeps you from burning out all the time... there is a way to disconnect it I have heard.

 

what gears are you running? your buddy might have the 3.92s

Are they both stock? Any Mods?

 

Quad cab Reg Cab? altho i have a quad cab 4x4 and i can smoke my tires all day long!

 

what kind of tires? rims size? etc... I went from stock tires to 22's on nittos and now I can't spin them like the stock tires.

 

I figure that you have the 20's and he has the 17's. Also, you have not only the added weight but also the added rotational force on the drive train.

 

my 2004 hemi is a 4x4 quad cab no mods with 20' wheels--what gear comes with 4x4 in rear end and front end. my best friends truck is 2004 quad cab hemi 2x2 with 20' wheels my tires are abit bigger thats it--so any suggestions--could use some expert help hereee----ty jesse

 

it just might be your tires. i would still like to know what gears you have and, as others mentioned, mods. you said you didn't have mods, but does your friend have em?

if your truck came factory with the 20's you might have the 3.92s. i think the next ones down are the 3.73s and anything lower than that and you're definitely not gonna do a burnout.

 

i have an 03 qc 4x4 with the hemi, i can't break then free from a dead stop if my life depended on it, and i have a few mods done.
