CHANGING BODY STYLE? 2001-2008

RE: CHANGING BODY STYLE? 2001-2008
Best color on the Ram, hands down, 2005 Daytona Go Mango followed by the recent crystal pearl red.
I laugh everytime people think 2009 will be a major redesign. Factories are about a month away from swtiching over to the 2008 model, a new GEN truck would take a year to design and put into production.
1. All new designs have been stuck in the mud for the past year due to DC selling C. Case in point, Challenger. As a result they are behind.
2. There is not even a concept, and do not pull the 5 year old Rampage out as say that is the 2009 Ram, it is not the 2009 Ram. It was the Rampage concept (sort of like the Avalanche to the Silverado) and is not making production.
Do not get me wrong I do think there will be changes over the next two years, I would totally expect a HP boost. May even happen in 2008, but enough to call it a new GEN, nope. And a HP boost does not neccessarily mean a bigger Hemi, I think they will push the 5.7 up to upper 300s.
It is all speculation. My ideas, yours. Only time will tell.
