Default Some mods

How's it going people? Cool forum, wish I would have found it earlier! Anyways, I picked up an 06 SLT QC SB 4x4 with the 5.7L and am happy as a clam. My only regret is that I didn't have the extra bank to upgrade to the Laramie.I put on some Westin nerf bars, a Truxedo, and a Rhino over-the-rails bedliner shortly there after, which looks damn fine against the sand dollar color.

Anyways, I was contemplating doing some performance mods, and was wondering, if one had to choose, which mod gets the most bang for the buck? I looked at a CAI, a Throttle body spacer, and a Magnaflow exhaust in a friend's rig. I was impressed, but the noise might have been a liitle more than I want (from the CAI which I thought was odd). I see most of the posters here like the Superchips performance programmer, I believe called the flashpaq? I'm looking more for responsiveness, power, shiftpoints, and maybe some added fuel economy. I'm pretty new to this, so if there is an info database on the finer points of performance mods, could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!!!

The exhaust and the CAI. is a good way to go. I went with true dual exhaust and the K&N G-2 CAI. I have header and no catsand i had my PCM flashed by DC.This is just some of the things i have on the HEMI. By the way welcome to D.Forum.

Since you are asking about mod questions I am going to move this to the 3rd Gen Ram section so you get more replies. Welcome.

Welcome to the site. Exhaust and intakes are good, stay away from TB spacers as they do nothing, and have fun. Oh, and if I had money I would buy an STS turbo.

I'd do everything you asked about in your original post. All of them seem to be to the benefit of what your looking for.
